The Review is an article in which we review something in ROBLOX. The writer explains what it is and what they think of it. Along with other posts, there will be a Review every week.

This Week's Review: Mad Paintball! by loleris

Mad Paintball is a shooter game where, instead of bullets, you use paintballs. This game was extremely popular on release and still continues to have more than 1,000 players on it at once every day. While there's not much you can do in this game, it is still lots of fun. The game has not had very many bugs in it at all, and the ones that are there aren't game breaking. This game appeals to most people who like shooters, and an even wider audience since the use of paintballs makes it less violent.

MY EXPERIENCE

I have loved this game since the day it was released, and it still continues to please me. I was one of the people to purchase the Mad Paintball Mystery Box, which gives access to 2 exclusive characters, Axel, a sniper, and Adam, a minigunner, and also gives you 150,000 credits. Adam is my personal favorite character, and at the time of writing this article he is level 73 (2 levels until the next level bonus!). There is a wide variety of characters, however, such as Billy and Summer, who are shotgunners that are very strong close range but not good at a distance, and Peter and Chazz who have a rifle, who are pretty good close range but deadly from a long range since other people won't be able to do much damage to them.

There's also things to unlock, such as Harry (the code will be down below), a sniper with low health but is brutal in the right hands, Drew, another sniper who is wonderful for quickscopers since his sniper charges up nearly instantly, Jack, a minigunner with lots of health but like Billy and Summer is terrible from a distance, and then the robux characters, Tyler, Shedletsky, and the Beast.

Multi-kill!
I was able to access the testing server, and what I saw was impressive. The players were not able to play a round but the menu was able to be accessed, and there were many characters and paintball guns that were not yet available. There were lots of characters that were yet to be seen by the public, and then some people from The Mad Murderer. As pictured above, Dennis was one of those characters, who I think was a minigunner (but don't quote me on that.) Some characters that were not in any game yet include Red and Angel.

And while there's a lot of content in the game, the gameplay is amazing. One downside is that waiting to play the game or spectating when getting killed is excruciatingly boring, especially when early in the round. But if you're able to survive, the game is lots of fun. The thrill of hunting down players on the opposing team will be loved by nearly any competitive person, and scoring a kill might take a while, but it's worth it. Once you get kills you can earn credits which are used for buying characters (and soon paintball guns and skins), and you also get experience which you can collect to level up, earning level bonuses at level 25, 50, 75, and 99.

RATING

7/10 - While this game is loads of fun, playing for too long can get boring. I haven't been playing this game as much as I used to, but I do occassionally visit and wipe out the field with Adam. If you're looking for a challenge, Mad Paintball is the game for you.
